For the past 16 years, the Prem Sagar Foundation, in partnership with organizations such as Raj Vidya Kender (RVK) and The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), has been conducting free eye clinics in remote areas across various states in India where such facilities are scarce. These efforts aim to provide the best possible eye screenings and distribute glasses to those in need.

In 2006, Prem Rawat, founder of The Prem Rawat Foundation, introduced an innovative concept to provide healthy meals to children and elderly adults in the poverty-stricken areas of Bantoli, a small settlement near Ranchi in northwest India. This initiative, known as “Food for People,” became a flagship program aimed at nourishing children, the elderly, and the ailing, allowing able adults to work, children to attend school, and both health and hope to flourish. And it worked!
It all started with Prem Rawat’s vision to address stark inequalities and bring light to the darkest corners of society.
Over the years, we’ve been driven by the belief that every person deserves access to basic necessities, education, and healthcare.
Through a range of innovative programs, we strive to create lasting impacts. Our initiatives are designed to foster growth and self-reliance, from providing nutritious meals through the “Food for People” program and promoting hygiene by teaching community members to wash their hands before eating, to equipping individuals with essential skills through our Computer Literacy and Stitching courses.

Supported by The Prem Rawat Foundation, the project has served over 1.2 million meals, educated countless children, and organized numerous medical camps, leading to transformative changes in communities. School enrollment rates have soared, health outcomes have improved, and economic activities have flourished.
